So glad to have found Michael. Contacted for this first time in Summer 2021 from a referral. He and a partner came and completed work quickly and were a pleasure to work with. Michael explained everything and made sure I didn't have any questions before he left. Contacted today for a more emergent issue which was quickly resolved. Both times I have contacted Michael, he has returned my call within an hour.

My air conditioning wasn't working on a very hot day; and I have health issues where I really needed the A/C to be functioning. I contacted the company who I have used for years to do my yearly maintenance and they told me it would be at least 2 weeks before they could come out. I contacted some of the "bigger" companies and they gave the same timeframe. I contacted Michael at Thonus North at around 4pm, let him know my urgency, and before 5pm a tech came out. He was not only very nice, but figured out what the issue was...though he didn't have the part. The next thing I know, Michael brought the part to the tech at my house and in a short period of time, my A/C was fixed! And their fee was very reasonable. Thonus North is now my go to for all things HVAC!

Michael came out right on time and installed a mini split in our new sunroom. He’s very professional, honest and a hard worker. While he was here he checked the efficiency of our heating system, he made a few adjustments at no charge! Michael Grillo goes above and beyond, great guy! Highly recommend him.

We had two showers that needed repairs. On the day of our scheduled appointment Mike called to inform us he was running behind schedule due to an earlier job taking more time because of unforeseen problems. We appreciated his calling. Although he had a very long day he came and expeditiously repaired both our showers. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely rely on him for any future plumbing needs.

I had a major collapse of my sink/dishwasher piping in the kitchen. I called Thonus and set up an appointment. They appeared on-time, assessed the problem, corrected the problem, and billed me what their estimate had been, not one penny more. Great service. Nice guys. Trustworthy. Reasonable prices. Of course I will use them again if need be.

Len came out on a Saturday on a holiday weekend for the emergency call. His responsiveness was above and beyond. Unfortunately the part needed had to be ordered. He got great kudos from both my guests and I for the attempt. I've had Len do other projects HVAC and plumbing before but they were always "please finish by April". Description of work: Our water heater stopped working on Saturday with a house full of guests. The guests made this an emergency for me.

We purchased a fixer upper and called Thonus to fix a number of plumbing related issues. They showed up when they said they would, cleaned up and recommended ways to save money. They are on our speed dial for plumbing services and we would recommend them to anyone. Description of work: Updated kitchen and bathroom plumbing and fixtures.

Found our heater would not blow on the coldest night of the year (brrr...thank goodness for electric heaters and a fireplace). Called these guys and left a message. They called first thing in the morning and said they would be by that day...And a few hours later they had arrived and fixed the issue in 1/2 hr. Very fair price.

The drain was un-clogged promptly and efficiently. The water leak was found to be not the result of a plumbing issue but rather a defective (leaking) shower pan, so no work was completed on that score. However, Mr. Thonus was kind enough to recommend an excellent tile installer, and I have since hired him as well! I have also recommended Thonus to a landscaper friend, who hired him to install an irrigation system.

Great. His responsiveness went a long way in soothing some of my more persnickety guests. There have been a number of problems with the old place (most recently a failed septic system, and "no hot water" issues in two different buildings). Len has never failed to go the extra yard in order to resolve whatever plumbing problem the place has thrown at him. My guests have been impressed by his promptness and thoroughness. I've appreciated his patience in explaining options and recommendations.

One weak earlier another plumber replaced a faulty pressure valve that was leaking water in basement. He suggested a bad heater coil and promised an estimate on replacing the unit. I had contacted Thonus North thru Angie's but he could not make the emergency call in time. When the heater continued to malfunction, I re-contacted Len and he diagnosed the problem and helped me avoid a $1500+ replacement bill.

Len Thonus promptly replied to our initial call, asked questions based on photos we sent of old water heater, clearly explained proposed service, then offered options for dates of service when we decided to go ahead. His co-worker Kevin, friendly and professional, arrived exactly on time, removed the old heater and installed the new one within 2-3 hours, checked that everything was working properly, cleaned up the work area nicely and reviewed everything with me.

Work was completed quickly, professionally, and very reasonably priced. They fixed pump on my boiler, flushed system, rerouted baseboard when I had a power outage due to a flood and I lost one leg of baseboard because of freezing pipes. Great job! They have since done additional work and it has been very satisfactory every time. They have even talked me out of service that they felt I didn't need which saved me a lot of money. Very honest!

They were very responsive, prompt and professional, and nice. I think they may be a little pricier, but I'd rather get the job done right and pay only a little more. I've used his company twice. He replaced a faucet and fixed a part on my toilet. He also checked my furnace for me. Very little maintenance was needed. But at least I'm up to date now.

Len was wonderful. I called on a Sunday morning. He helped me stop the leak coming from water heater then came the next day and installed a new water heater.

On-time, accurate quote for the work, and very professional and through with his work. Will definitely use them again.

He is very good and he is reliable. He is on time and does a quality work. He cleans up. He does all the good stuff. The price is reasonable.
